Established in 1989, Priorbank has been a subsidiary of RBI since 2003. It is one of the largest local private banks and one of the country’s leading financial institutions in terms of efficiency and profitability. Raiffeisen Bank International has been present in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the acquisition of Market Banka in 2000. Raiffeisen BANK dd Bosna i Hercegovina currently operates through 84 business outlets, providing services for more than 480,000 customers, including private individuals, corporate customers, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

RBI entered the Kosovan market in 2002 by acquiring most shares in the American Bank of Kosovo. By June 2003, RBI had assumed complete ownership of the bank and rebranded it as Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo. Operating within a context of a rebuilding economy at the time, the bank has since become the largest in Kosovo by all significant financial measures. The representative office provides an additional line of customer relationship unit apart from RBI itself, its branches and the RBI Group's network of banks in Central and Eastern Europe. The group has been present in France with a Representative Office since 1993. The Representative Office Paris is responsible for the French and Belgian markets.

The Chief Representative in Paris is Austrian, who has been living in France since 2000 and therefore has a sound knowledge of the local markets. He maintains relationships with the major local companies, banks and authorities and is therefore an excellent source of information for RBI's business partners worldwide.

As of 1 May 2013, RBI transformed its Representative Office Frankfurt/Main to a Branch Office. Both the upgrade and opening of an additional office in Düsseldorf were based on the fact that business and business potential with German companies in CEE and Austria has been growing steadily since the establishment of the Representative Office in 2005.

The Frankfurt Branch Office acts as a bridge to RBI Head Office in Vienna and the group’s network banks, supporting German based companies with banking and leasing services throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The branch's staff offer comprehensive knowledge of the local market and how to support RBI business in CEE and Austria. They maintain relationships with major local companies, banks and authorities and are therefore an excellent source of information for both new and existing business relationships.
