The European Union grants substantial aid to promote the development of member states and companies with a wide variety of programmes.

These funds are directly distributed on the one hand by the EU Executive Agencies of the EU Comission and on the other hand on national level.

In Austria the national managed funds are handled through institutions like FGG, AWS and KPC and in other EU member states the respective implementation takes place through investments promotion agencies like Invest Croatia, Czech Invest, Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), Invest Romania or SARIO in Slovakia. A large part of the EU funding earmarked is granted as co-financing within domestic programmes.

In addition the EU External Aid Programme directly support the development of structures and framework conditions in prospective candidate countries, EU neigbouring countries and even beyond this area. This may also create new opportunities to your international investments
