Highlights from Structured Finance 2024
The 20th anniversary of the Structured Finance conference ended successfully. With over 3,000 participants, the event addressed corporate financing, sustainability, geopolitical risks, and everything in between.
The annual Structured Finance conference has concluded for 2024. Stuttgart, Germany, became host to the leading event among industry professionals and financial decision makers. RBI was not only represented at our booth under the banner “Financing the Future”, but also during a roundtable on stage.
Navigating the Green Transition: Insights from the Roundtable
Andreas Schild, Head of Investment Finance Sales at RBI, moderated the 45 minutes segment for Ralf Mittermayr, CEO of Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG. Mittermayr provided valuable insights into Austria’s largest waste management and recycling company’s journey towards a circular economy, elaborating on the central role that financial partnerships play and highlighting both the existing obstacles and the adaptive strategies being employed.
He argued that the green transition should not be seen as a barrier but rather as an opportunity. Using Saubermacher’s own experiences, he exemplified how a sustainable transformation may be accomplished. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how sustainable practices can be integrated into business operations while navigating financial complexities.
